Just wondering if anyone has a good site to get good priced, quality merino wool base layer clothing.

| Campmor sells them on their website as do others. Filson, Outdoor Research and Smartwool have merino wool t-shirts. They aren't cheap though, so do be surprised at the cost of a shirt. Also, there are some brands that have a wool blended with synthetic fibers. Per usual, it all depends on what you want and how much you want to spend. |

I have 2 pair of the regular, 2 layer, merino wool blend version of these: http://www.backcountry.com/kombi-bamboo-charcoal-w-merino-wool-pant-mens I paid $20/pair for them at a discount store. I've been using 1 pair for years and just picked up a second pair last year. They are fantastically warm, light and small. I don't see how anything costing twice as much can be any better. I'm not a huge fan of the merino blend shirts (I have one, never wear it much) as I like to hike and they make me sweat too much. I stick to polyester blends and remove or add fleeces as needed.
