1. Raise the flag this morning in my skivvies. Check
2. Walk the dogs 1.5 miles in late fall clothing. Check
3. Realizing you did all that at -22 when you get in the truck to drive to work. Priceless.
It's amazing the amount of crap you can get used to. I'm prepared and equipped for cold weather. So much so that I don't break it out i guess.

I worked in International Falls, MN one February.

At first -20°F to -40°F was shocking.  ...After a couple of weeks (if you survive!) you do get used to it

I'm tired of freezing my butt off. It's been in the 50s for like weeks.

I'm sick of wearing socks.

I left work a few weeks ago and was standing around in a tshirt and carhart thermal for 15 mins or so talking to a coworker outside before I got in my car.  It was -22 when I started my car.  I thought it seemed a little cold, but it didn't feel that cold at all.  I work in a 20-38 degree cooler and don't even notice the cold anymore, I often forget it's cold until someone new or from another department starts complaining.

-13⁰ F here this morning.  Really doesn't feel any colder than 10⁰ F to me.  Both are cold!!!   I don't have much body fat anymore so I get cold!  But I don't get as hot in the summer....  Best survival prepping I ever did was loose 30lbs and get back into shape a few years ago.

No different than the summers here. At first it seems hot then after a month or two just a little on the warm side if you even notice. Pretty soon you find yourself wearing hoodie at night when it gets down to the low 90's.
