I was thinking the same thing! Now I wonder where I can get my plasma rifle to go along with it.  (Reference to Fallout games for those who don't know.)

Man it look some crap I would come up with after a slow week on the farm ...... I like it .    Hell I built my own 4 row bush hog , several diff planting rigs and 16 row sprayer from scratch  , Its bad when you pick up more than 2 oxygen and acetylene tanks more then a couple of times a week , scrap metal never stays more than a season  in the pile and 5 pounds of rods a day is an average day

Its like junk yard wars , me and my best friend wished we could be on that show ,, all that stuff to play with for free.

There are some great ideas in there. One recurring issue for me is power, and I've had a gassifier on the list for a while now. Thinking that when the new genset goes in later this year that I'm gonna do a combo gassifier/tri fuel 20kW generator.  I like the GEK's, but they seem over complicated (and overpriced) and require a controller which doesn't fit into my SHTF operations when it comes to post EMP/solar event.
