Yes for survival discussion,
I am looking to make a still for making clean drinking water and also for making fuel (main reason for the still). I have down some research and will be probably be applying for the permit and building my own. Right now I am leaning towards a milk can style still. Any advice on... design of the still, materials for the mash (newspaper or other), testing for alcohol %, etc would be extremely helpful. ***** I will not be making my own 'drinkable' alcohol, but am not discouraging discussion to the feasibility of design for future flexibility. Thank you, ~DoubleAD~ |

I'm pretty sure there was a PDF or two listed in the PDF thread about still construction

| I purcased a 25L still through brewhaws.oom for the same reason(s). They have great links to other sites (mostly out of country given it is illegal to make your own for personal consumption). There are links to making your own still and supplies of you need them. Am currently working on 'batch #7 and betting better at the process. Hope this helps. |
