Periodically I like to go back over my gear and get feedback from others.

Here's what I am packing for general backpacking/BOB situations:

Bandaids, various sizes, about 15-30
Gauze pad. 2x2, non stick about 5-10
Medical tape, 1/2 and/or 1", 1 roll
Butterfly stiches
Neosporin (triple antibiotic gel/cream), 1 tube
Advil, 24 count
Duct tape, 20'
Tweezers

I have large "family" first aid kits and a BOK, but the above is meant to be a personal kit that can be packed in the old style military first aid kit pouch/box.

Don't forget the Benadryl.

Having just dealt with a good amount of poison ivy on my forearms, you would think that is something I may put into this kit. I have some in the family medic pack, but too rare an occurrence for my personal. Also, I have no allergies, thank god.

No one really uses butterflys anymore.  Everyone has gone to steristrips and the packaging is better for outdoor use.

I'd add chapstick, and blister treatment.  At least one pair of gloves, both as PPE and because your hands are probally filthy.
