Congrats My wife just started the EMT program at the local CC. Despite being a long-time healthcare worker, it seems like drinking from a fire hose.

Congratulations

Hopefully you get all that you can out of it. That doesn't just mean the medical aspect, but helping people as well. I've been an EMT for twenty years and I still enjoy it.

Congratulations!!

Are you still pinching yourself to see if you are dreaming or not?

I studied a totally different subject one time for about six months. Crammed for two weeks 16 hour days and got my cert the first time I tested. I was on cloud nine for a week.

Con
grats!  My son just received his EMT-B last week, and has since taken the ambulance driving course (EVO) and is now applying for jobs - Med Tech and EMT ... anything within the scope.

Any helpful hints on the getting a job process?
