Needs a blade on the front to push SHTF traffic and disabled/stalled/out of gas vehicles out of the way.

Wheels are better than treads if you are buying fuel and parts. That thing needs a v plow on the front though.

Looks like an LMTV, replaced the deuce and a half. I was there when 82nd replaced its WW2 vintage (albeit pieces of shit that always broke down) Deuce and a halfs with these. They broke down just as much if not more, were more costly to repair and required more expensive tools and better technical skill to do so.
Deuce and a half by a landslide.
As fa as tire changing is concerned you obviously do not know a thing about a split ring and the inherent dangers involved. Basically you stand a VERY high chance of getting seriously injured replacing the tire on a deuce and a half. That split ring pops off and destroys all in its path.
Get a jeep.

My dad broke both arms changeing a tire on a split rim. He broke all 6 big bones in his arms. He spent a miserable 6 weeks unable to either feed himself or wipe his ass. He was miserable.

I wish I knew. I ran across the pics on a weird photography "pic of the day" blog. The moment I saw it I wanted it.

Our original motor pool 'garage' ceiling had humongous holes in the 30 foot ceiling from split rings. I used to shit in my pants everytime I had to change a tire on one and it seemed like they got about 300 miles and needed a new one.
Get a jeep. If you need room- trailer.  Simplicity of maintenance and lower profile as well as maneuverability makes me choose a jeep. Preferrably one modified with a small block and Dana axles. But I can turn a wrench a little bit. Maybe a stock 4.0 for you hmm..

LMTVs do have clearance.....but I would not want to take one anywhere near mud or wet ground unless there was a HEMTT wrecker close by.....
