Stored in mylar with oxygen absorbers, of course.  Store bought enriched white bulk, not home ground or whole wheat.  Has anybody done any testing?

Funds just aren't there for a good mill right now,  but I'd still like to put a good amount of flour (or wheat if necessary) in the preps.  I already have lots of rice, quick oats, dried potatoes, dried milk, pancake mix.   Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Back to Basics Grain Mill just $39.99! I have one and really I'm not sure if the ones that cost 10X as much are worth it! Maybe they make your flour look like it came from the store but I have used mine from bread to cookies and other baked goods and you could not tell the difference!

Grains aren't just about carbs, enriched and either way processed grains in flour form will not keep their other-than-carbs nutritional value.

Still calories are calories in shtf and they WILL keep you going. Just keep this in mind.
