I got a new pack, the Eberlestock G4 Operator so I could load in my AR for dooms day...

I have been shaving my pack weight over the years.
With the new pack and seven days of food, and gear the total weight was 37 lbs.
However once I add my AR, 6 mags, Hk45 and 2 boxes of ammo (100 rnds) that's about 25 lbs more.
Now it's up to 62 lbs then add some water it goes up to 68 lbs.

BTW this is my  INCH  I'm Never Coming Home bag..

WTF... I guess it's just one of those things you just deal with.

sounds good post some pics. I bought a North face terra 60 as my BOB. I was thinking of a gunsinger for the same reason as you did.

man i love that g4 pack, i've been looking at them for a while. i'd love to have one i just can't spend the money on it though... it's one of the best pack designs out there IMHO wether or not your packing a rifle(though admitidly i've not handled or humped one)... i also would love to see some pics...
