Hello all,
I happened onto an aqaintence that is the owner of a 1962 MOG... I went out to see it and take some photographs this last weekend. Pretty cool truck too! I got a few photos but the interior was fairly cluttered so not as good of shots as I would have liked. Anyway I have the short article I wrote posted along with the photos, over at my website if anybody is a MOG fan and wants to check it out! Prepper Unimog article w/ pix |

I am still in awe of how that Unimog handled the washed-out bridge in the video. I was sure he was going to get stuck. That was a nice bit of driving! ![]() WINCH Didn't you see the tree/bush shaking in the background (in front of the truck in the last view). It shook when the pressure was let off when after the rear wheels cleared the ledge. Could have done the same thing with any jeep or truck properly equipped. No way you do that with out one. MIKE |

I want to do something similar with my Deuce. Would kick butt! buy another deuce and BOB it. Bob'ed dueces are cool. So little time, so many toys out there to want... friend of mine down in NC had one. had to be the nicest looking deuce i have ever seen. he had it painted desert tan. if i had the spare money i would build one. but between no money and no time it would never get done. |
