| When is the next hike down in Ocala National Forest? |
| We will be hosting a campout in Ocala the 2nd weekend in December. Be posting details soon. Not a hike, just a car camp/family campout/meet and greet type deal. It will be about the 7th year there. Usually has lots of (FREE) classes there also. In the past we have had NBC protection, reloading demonstrations, knife defense, primitive fire building, weapons disarms, some medical classes, etc. The range is a short drive from the location also. :) |

Mann- if you mean the one we used in April before the shoot/meet and greet then no. This one is a much better campsite, although not near the trail.
This will be more of an "easy" camp spot. Bathrooms within walking distance, actually showers there now also. It's a car camping type deal. Good for the folks that haven't done a hike or truly packed their gear in a distance before. Great spot to do classes and demos though- covered pavilions, etc. |

Lets not forget our rain cold camp of feb '05 I believe. lol. Yea I like the colder camps for sure. Im thinking we should do another Jan/Feb trip for sure. |

Ha ha, that's true
Around here it's bears, coyotes, rabid foxes, and moose...and I can shoot all of those if the situation arises. I'd rather take on a bear than a horde of fire ants. I've been spending a lot of time in Tampa and Orlando lately for work-just got back a few days ago from Tampa in fact. You guys have flying cockroaches down there! Palmetto/Love bugs my ass! Those are flying cockroaches dude
