[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Merriwether says Howdy

I've been lurking here for well over a year but when my edible wild plant blog showed up in the elderberry thread I figured that was a sign I should decloak.

Some background on me: My day job is a research chemist in the oil industry but my weekends are spent out in the wilds, well, as much as I can while still being a good husband & dad. I've been into preparedness since the mid-80's. You can find me over on Equipped to Survive , Zombie Squad, and Ron Hood's Survival.com forum as "Blast" but nowdays I prefer Merriwether.

I really enjoy this group and hopefully can share a tidbit or two in the future!
