My in-laws informed be Sunday that a truck driver friend of her employer was taking a semi load of road signage to Sacramento CA. He inquired what the signs were for and was brushed off. At the first fuel stop he opened the load and the signs said, "This area under martial law". Third hand to me. I generally don't relay rumor but this was close enough to home to communicate. I don't know what the chances are that they will be deployed.

Just for a routine training exercise, nothing to see here move along.
Look guys our government makes plans for this kind of thing, with a possibility of H1N1 becoming a serious out break this fall I'd be more worried if FEMA didn't have contingency plans for declaring and closing some hot zones. Who knows whether the report is true but either way it's no surprise. |

We would have once thought it incredibly insane to believe that we would have Soldiers near a nuclear detonation, but there are films to prove it. Gee agent orange, dropped near and on our own troops. I don't doubt anything anymore. I lost faith when our own Government admitted to knowing that we had POW's left behind in WWII, Korea, Vietnam and did nothing. We knew they were even shipped to Russia, China and did nothing. |
