Is it possible to get Tamiflu without a prescription . There are tons of places selling it out of europe, canada, and new zealand online without a script, is this BS? Any one have experience with this?
I am looking to store several boxes w/ my other med. prep's. Thanks |

I do believe it is script only...not sure about other countries.
The issue is without knowing if you have the flu or some other benign illness you will not know if you should take it. The other issue is dosage, different flu viruses need different doses and misuse of Tamiflu can result in drug-resistant strains of the influenza virus. Think viral version of MRSA. |
| My doc gave a scrip for each family member when I asked a while back. They are filled and sitting on the shelf in case we need them. Reminds me I need to check the expiration dates. The first time I asked he thought I was a little out there but wrote them, the next visit he said he did some research and was stocking up himself. I have 3 doctors in the family who have personal stocks put away for their family friends and staff. |

Quoted: Quoted: you can buy it from canada pharma sites. 78.99 per 10 pills legally? i have no idea on the legalities. i assumed it was good to go, there was a bunch of ppl on another forum i'm on going to buy some and claimed these legit sites they have ordered stuff from before. all the major brands/prescripts. and i also just read this in another article The World Health Organization (WHO) said the virus appears to be susceptible to Roche's ROG.VX flu drug Tamiflu, also known as oseltamivir, but not to older flu drugs such as amantadine. Roche said it has five million treatment courses of Tamiflu on stand-by for the WHO in its "Rapid Response Stockpile." |

It is prescription-only in the US, and runs about 8 bucks per pill. Yep... you read that right. just wait till peak Tamiflu. you will pay $80 a pill. They're already at "peak". There is nowhere near enough of that stuff to have any meaning whatsoever in the face of a pandemic. |

I am bumping this because I am trying to get some Tamiflu right now. If anyone has been sucessful please IM me. Hmmmm.... Just so happens I have an extra couple of boxes of tamiflu... I think I will start the bidding at $100 per box Bastard
The funny thing is I just did a search and a 75mg box being sold from a vet is going for $150...so honestly 100 is a bargain. Seriously though my doctor wont even let me get extra antibiotics for the homestead. So if anyone has any information, maybe they could IM me and I would be able to get some medicine for my family. of course keep it legal |

Has anyone here used alldaychemist.com? I've used them to stock up on antibiotics for emergency use. I have used their zithromax a couple of times for sinus infections, and it seemed to work. I ordered tamiflu from them a couple of years ago. I do not know if the medicine is effective though, I just don't know what kind of quality control they have, or if these are knockoff substitutions being made... Hopefully I'll never have to find out. |
