Hi, I'm pretty new to this but have been getting more and more interested.  I'm still reading in the forum but was wondering if there were some guides or books or etc, that a beginner could follow?  I'm in a rural southern town or rather the outskirts of one, surrounded by several acres and have access to spring water.  I guess I'm wanting to learn more about the self reliance aspect; have lots of solar power, gardening, and storage questions.  Thanks for the help.
