Lucky me, I have three Coleman lantens now, time to let others share in the weatlh of these great outdoor light sources instead of picking up just one more at the garage sales. Two of mine have the stainless steel fuel tanks, one is an olive drab color instead of the standard Coleman green. I had four Coleman lanterns, but gave one to my youngest daughter and her husband so they can use it camping with their kids. I imagine I will end up giving away another one to some of the kids or grandkids. These are heirlooms as long as you can find fuel and mantles.
I also have some Coleman stoves, but all of them, except one that was my Dad's, need some work to get them running again. It can be simple issues, like lack of a good seal at the fuel tank cap. Dad's stove has been great, used in my Dad's lifetime, and now for most of mine too. |
