The company I work for has a hunting lease option on some of the land.  It's about 1800 acres of woods and fields.  We can use it year round for 'a shooting range' and of course hunt anything in season.  I live on the outskirts of a very small town about 45 minutes away from the next decent sized town and I've always figured I'd bug in.  The lease is about 30 minutes away from my house and about 30 minutes away from work so it's a good location.  There is a small container for a building out there, nothing special.  I was talking with the guy that runs the lease and there are about 20 people currently signed on to it.  It'll run about 450-500 bucks a year depending on how many ppl get on it this year.  He mentioned that it was also a 'place to meet if anything happened'.  Needless to say, I'm a bit surprised.  Most people here know I have a couple rifles, but nobody knows about my preps or what I actually have related to firearms.

The great thing is, there is plenty of room to shoot (some places to practice 4-800m shots) and the potential to meet some other like minded individuals.  Not entirely sure how to broach the 'prep' side of things, but I know everyone out here and figured I'd get on the lease and get some 'away from work' face time before figuring out how to bring up the subject.  Any ideas from y'all on the best way to approach this?

There are 2 small lakes.  First one is about 20 acres, the other about 45 acres.  Good fishing too.  And it's surrounded by about 25,000 acres of large farms and some more company land.  Population density might be in the dozens.
