[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Menards

Anyone shop at Menards lately? I was just there and they had a nice stock of canned goods for a pretty nice price.
Vegetables at .64 cents a can and Chef Boarde for .94 cents. Not sure if thats better but, its very close to my house.

Never thought to shop Menards for food (other than those snacks they usually have at checkout)...

Menards does have great sale prices on items, and food can be found at a good deal at times, many times some items are more than the local grocery store.

Hey if you are near a Kroger owned store, Chef B. is on sale for .88 per can. I

They still hand out the pretzels as you walk in? The big brown box fulls? or is that a different store...? Musta been 10 years ago in Wisconsin when I was last in one.

they had a little fire in the ceiling... but they got past that pretty quickly. IIRC it was electrical or something, and they were in the store when it happened so they got to it quickly.
