I have a 24 inch water line running by my house. (actually crosses my property for about 300 feet ) it is a public utility line that feeds the airport for fire suppression.
My house is tapped into this line already. If SHTF, could I pump out that line using a hand pump? I am thinking that I could cut the line coming into my house and use a hand pump or well pump attached to this line to pump water. Will it work?? |
