Just picked up a new Yamaha 2.5HP 4 stroke... 
To push my 16' Coleman Scanoe: 
By chance does anyone run one of these? I've been spending as much time in upstate NY and Vermont trying to find an area to concentrate on for a honest - to - goodness BOL. We've been exploring the lakes and rivers there and have gotten tired of lugging batteries for a little electric motor and searching for a place to recharge it. Not to many outlets in wilderness areas... hoping that the 2.5 will push it well. BTW, I was going to buy a Honda 2hp but Yammy has a promo for extended service OR a discount. the 2.5 was $775. With the discount ($150) and tax it was $670 OTD... |
