I am a Marine Corps Water Survival instructor and ARC certified lifeguard so I can purchase high flow O2 sets for firstaid applications.  While looking for an O2 set for my first aid kit, I got a deal that included an HCS-1001 Oxygen Conserver by Medline.  This is a low flow unit that is used for O2 therapy.  What I actually need is a standard mini-regulator that can flow up to 25 LPM for first aid applications.  This is a nice unit and I would like it to get to someone who could use it, but as it is supposed to need an Rx, I can't just sell it online. Does anyone know a company that deals with this small equipment?

Just keep it.

No one will pay you what it is worth.

One day.........

I was thinking of that.  I really would hope some used medical company would trade it for the regulator and maybe a few BVMs or something.

A "D" tank would be good. A BVM adult and child size, a few nasal cannulas, and a standard bag/rebreather mask. go you have airways covered? Oral, nasal, combitube? O2 is good, but you need airway first. ABC.

Yes, I have the airway stuff I need covered. I have been holding out on the O2 and AED s they are the big $$ items.  I just got a good deal on this and it had a D bottle as well. I wasn't expecting to get this, but I jumped on it.  I can get the reg I need for $20-100, but I'd really like to get this Conserver to a good home.  While it is "worth" about $200, it has little use for me.  I need a high-flow setup.

I guess being around FD and EMS all the time I take for granted O2 set-ups. I hate to say "galls" but you can buy the whole kit there.

The small tanks usually have up to 15 LPM.  I would not know a scenario where you would need more than that, even if bagging someone.  I work with ventilators and that is as high as our meters go.
