It hit me today.
I went to town to pick my daughter up at 0430. I eased the 1911 into it's familiar spot and took off. Ten round mag inserted, that made 11 rounds.
It hit me on the ride in, that I didn't have the two spare mags along.
I'm getting lazy, although I have an AK and mags behind the seat. It's still not good to become lax.
Just my observation.

I know what you mean.  I am not comfortable with leaving weapons in the vehicle overnight or all of the time.  Maybe you need to set up a bag or something with all you might need.  A portable BUB Back Up Bag that transitions between home and the vehicle in addition to the BOB Bug Out Bag.  Thank You

I have left without a reload before and it's a naked feeling for sure...

I walked the dog las night at 11pm and found an empty holster halfway down the street.

I just plain forgot to put the glock in the holster.

At least I had the pepper spray on the leash and a surefire 6P
