Looking for some input. I have a walk in safe 12x12 and about 35 cases of Mountain House. Do you think it's a waste of space to secure this in there. I'm just setting up the room now with a work table, ammo, man toys and such and a tall filing cabinet. Does anyone lock up there preps other than in the house?

Not really no.

MH doesn't do to well in pawn shops but a bunch of the other stuff I have does.

Only until you need the space for more vaulable items.  Keeping it out of sight is a good thing "OPSEC".  But once it is in your way or you need to bring in more weapons racks, etc, move it out then.

It depends.

Will the crates still leave room for your cot and shower stall?

Will you still be able to access the firing ports?

(LOL at "pawnshop Mountain House")

Well that MH good be worth more than all your man toys in a true SHTF.

I wouldn't put all my food in one spot though.
