With what is currently happening in the world, mainly the financial crisis, do you think that the number of people interested in preparedness is going to increase? Will this be enough to set a spark under your average person to start thinking about the possibilities of the unexpected?

I think the vast majority might look into preparedness after there is absolutely no way left to deny it might be needed.

i agree with the second post(first reply), but that said i have certainly noticed a few new faces/screen names manking posts/replies, and asking question here in the SF over the last couple weeks...

I think most people will get interested in it for about a week, after that their interest will die off. My ex wife got scared by watching the movie zeigist and wanted to prep, after a week she thought I was nuts again.
