A couple weeks ago, i ordered a few bags and 02 absorbers from them.  

Nothing came.

I called them up and a very apologetic man looked into it.  It turned out that they got half of my info, so we squared it away in a minute.

He asked again if there was something he could do for me to make it better.  BTW, I was not giving him a hard time, nor leaning on him for freebies.

He offered some samples of their product, and asked what I was interested in.

I told him I had no clue and that if he wanted, he could surprise me with something.

Holy Crap!  The samples that he sent cost more than the product I ordered.

He sent me 30ish bags of varying sizes, some kind of 'dry box' moisture killer.  And a big heavy zip lock bag with a square bottom... like you would take out in the boat to keep wallets and cameras and pistols in.   And a plastic clamp for the bags.

I scored!!!!  

I certainly will do business with them again, and will definitely recommend them to both of my friends.

Very cool!  Nice to hear some companies try to take care of their customers.

It would be fun to be able to track a companies sales or at least website hits after something gets mentioned here in SF.  I know I have followed more than a couple suggestions made in here.

A couple of years ago I ordered some bags.  At check out they had an Internet purchase fee.  So to be clever, I printed out my order form and mailed it.  They never cashed my check or sent the order.  I should have called and bitched

I told the guy that their internet system was fucked up.  He said that they were aware of it, and working on it.

He also said that the whole 'internet order' idea was something that they didn't expect would be as large as it is.  Apparently there are a bunch of us crazies out there.  He said that the small orders have exploded, thus their revamping of the website.

It seems, due to the 'name brand's on their website that they are a pretty big manufacturer, not a niche supplier.  

The fact that they are offering their product at all  to the likes of us is a pretty big plus in MHO.

Call me one of the crazies. I made an order with them a few ago, nothing too big, something like ten of the 5-6 gallon size mylar and some 02 absorbers. Shipped quick and well packaged. Looks like they'll be getting more of my business.

of course the crazies are going to take to the internet, they don't have to leave their shelters to do so.

I wish I could get them to either return my emails and/or call me back from the several voice mails I've left.  I ordered some desiccant and O2 absorbers, and some other small shit.  The O2 absorbers came in a clear plastic bag w/ a hole in it, that was full of air and I could squeeze and hear the air come out.  In other words, they're spent, no good, etc.

I emailed and called both several times asking for the return/replacement process, but haven't gotten any kind of response.  They never answer their phones and don't check email as best that I can tell.

Maybe I'm an outlier, but I only have a sample size of 1 and I think they screwed me.  No big deal, it wasn't a lot of $, but I would never place a large order with them.  As of right now I wouldn't order a free bucket of piss from these people.
