i just put away about 300#'s of preps and was checking the bags over and noticed that 2 of them had shrunk but not completely, as in i'm convinced there is no leaks in the bags but it isn't completely vacumed.

should i cut a small hole, drop in more O2 packs and re-seal, or is it fine the way it is?

thanks-

Probably wouldn't hurt. Your food isn't going to go bad with the little bit of residual oxygen in the bag.

Were the absorbers from a new SEALED package? The "open the bag and then put them in a mason jar" thing doesn't usually work for most people.

A crease could have caused a failure in the bag.  I would start over with a new bag.  Use the failed bag to make pouches.

Push extra bag into the bottom of the bucket, and watch the point of the iron.
Good Luck

yeah they were from a new bag.

i cut a little hole in the two bags and threw the rest of the O2's i opened last night i had in a air tight container into them and resealed, i'll watch them to see what happens if that doesn't work i'll replace the bags.
