No more bumping "special" threads to keep them from going to the archive.  We will probably have some sort of criteria to decide which threads we will apply this too. (Yet to be decided). Obviously, we can't do it to every thread, but it's a welcome option. |
Not really a vote thread and they wouldn't get bumped. They would just not go to the archive server. But I'd like to hear your opinions on what type of threads you'd like to be "saved" from the archive so we can form some sort of baseline. Maybe some of the better "how to" types, shelf life threads with good info, ect. Threads that you may want to add or reply to in some manner in the future (something you can't do to an archived thread). ect. One thing though, if it's a "how to" type thread heavy on pics the OP should agree to keeping the links to the pics working. |

I toggled that one too. Just to clarify, doing this doesn't bump the thread. It will continue to age back into the pages of the forum if it doesn't get new posts . But it will keep it from going into the archives. When threads go there they are read only and I'm pretty sure not search able by non team members. |
