I see some guys have picked up small Chineese models----anybody convince me the Honda is waste of money??? (only looking for a small portable back up---2000-3500w) The inverter is noy really my main concern.... |

Try this on for size. I have two gens 1850 watts and 4000 watts including 30 amp cable to my power box I still have over $200 less invested than a EU2000. Where I live, I've yet to use either in over five years for anything other than recreational purposes or trials. My critical electronics all have battery backups or don't need cleaner power. So if the power goes out for an extended period, I have to use one of my laptops instead of my 21" monitor. I think I can live with that. So the Honda will live longer. What I have will outlive what fuel I have and if one breaks I have another one. Tj |
