Because of the great deal going on with the discount code I want to order some Nalgene bottles. I'd like to know what works better, large mouth or small mouth ? I want them just to carry drinking water,nothing else.

I like the wide mouths.

They are easier to clean, you can put water filters on top of them, and if you had to waterproof something in them you could.

The large mouth fit some water filters.
The large mouth let you add ice.
The large mouth let you spoon in drink powder.

Yup I recommend large mouth

I like the wide mouth ones the best. I use 'em every day for work.

I have both the wide and narrow mouth bottles. I like the wide mouth better. I also use the sippy lid insert so I don't wind up with watter all over me if I am moving and drinking at the same time.

most of the water filters also have the outlet hose made to fit the wide mouth bottles. makes fill up very nice and easy,.
