I'm writing this from the Dominican Republic. Yesterday I bought and used a tube of toothpaste. Today I noticed that the date of manufacture is 11 July 2000. It's perfectly fine.

I guess it's okay to stockpile toothpaste even if you only rotate it every five years or more.

That's good to know as I have some five year old toothpaste in the stash at my kids' house.

Are you sure it wasn't made in the UK?

Maybe it's the antifreeze that gives it the long shelf life.

Toothpaste? What can you do with that besides brush your teeth?

I use salt, baking soda and peroxide. When you're done brushing it feels like you just left the dentist office.

Multi use stuff is key in my book.

That stuff will just make you stupid, NTM it is poisonous.  The Nazis were really concerned about their Jewish populations teeth, so they put that fluoride in there.  No offense.

I think one would have to understand WTF you're talking about before one could be offended, so I wouldn't worry about it.  Are you suggesting that toothpaste will make you stupid and is poisonous?

I've got a packrat aunt that's got some older than that.
