Saw that and allmost ordered it, had to clear it out of the old shopping cart to make way for other stuff though. I have a few I got years ago, but they rock when used with a canteen cup.

A friend has one. You have to shop for fuel at a good price. Makes for a very nice, simple and easy to use backpacker solution.

I've used mine with small sticks and bits of pine cone, too, and it worked well. I Keep it full of triox in my pack.

Velamint tin alcohol stove on right. NOT altoid, velamint fits perfect. Can be stored inside folded stove with additional tin pieces in lower pic.

Modified stove to focus flame. note piece under as well

They do work GREAT with a G.I. style cup but just about useless with any other type of cookware.

I have/had several. So simple even the Chinese knock-offs work well. Fuel tabs are dirt cheap right now but like all surplus, WILL be gone someday.

Yep I will usually pick up a few dozen or so when I see them at gunshows, much cheaper than that.

If you don't mind buying *a lot* of the stuff, it gets stoopid cheap. I got 1200 bars from Coleman's surplus for $64 shipped.

What CTD does have a good deal on is these Esbit knockoffs for $2. I ordered a couple, haven't tried them but they certainly seem functional.
