You had to post that. I'm still pissed that I can't find the canned stuff from the good old days.

What's the world coming to.

when I do butcher them, I hope to do a pictorial on the whole process, from the shot to the head, to the packaging for the freezer,

more than likely won't smoke any of them if my scheduled stays like it is now, I'll only have time enough to butcher, render fat/make cracklin's outta the skin and maybe clean the guts/make maws, like we did when I was a kid,

if I don't have the time, I'll just skin, butcher/cut up and package,

but hell man, the whole family might show up, so they'll be time for prepping them up to smoke, and use everything,

nothing like the taste of bacon fresh outta the smoker and seared up in a pan, on toasted wheat bread, piece of American cheese, bit of helman's, slice of onion, few leaves of lettuce and some thinly sliced tomato.

It may still be available. Its still being sold in Poland. You may be able to find a online grocer that sells it and will ship to the USA.That not speaking Polish may get in the way though. I have seen this for sale at online Polish groceries. But I was never able find a translate button. Jim

You're possibly going to run into custom's regulations on the import of meat. Something to do with contamination of the domestic stuff. Big no-no and when I've traveled to Canada, Europe, or Asia the customs inspectors always require you to declare your fruits, vegies, and meat. Check with the USDA and customs before you drop your bacon on some bacon.

I love the little chicken meat-balls from Thailand but for whatever reason they can' be imported. Beef, shrimp, and pok only.

Its a no brainer.

It is cooked bacon sold chilled that dosen't need refrigeration.

Does your BO look like 18  hrs plus,? Well, some fucking bacon would be sweet, right.

It is shelf stable, precooked bacon, and it tastes like it.

I WILL buy it for evrey campout from now on.

I am with Waldo, that Navy ration Bacon in 3 pound cans was the shiznit.

After trying the precooked shelf stable Bacon at 14.00 per pound I have found slab bacon a reasonable alternative to my pork fat needs.

But bacon is the food of the Gods!
