Is there a water filter that can be used on pool water to make it potable? Some of my neighbors have pools and I thought it could be useful in an extended SHTF event to be able to filter water for them in exchange for water for myself. Thanks for your help. |
Consider an inexpensive RO filter with a celulose acetate membrane [chlorine tolerant]. Lot's of info here in links on left: www.freshwatersystems.com/p-2253-ca-membrane-4-x-40-osmo-411-hrca.aspx ETA, the above filter is way larger than most would need for SHTF. We're talking a $25 RO cartridge plus accessories, [housings and ancilliary filters, hoses, etc].
