i had a thought today, i'm sure somebody has done this before but not me. here are the conditions; you have received definite advance notice of a worldwide shtf, and you have a amex card as your primary resource. you know that you won't have to worry about paying your bill, or maintaining your account or credit rating because you know it won't exist in one week, that is 7 days. what preparations would you make, what things would you buy? you don't have any other resources than that card. other than the conditions i've laid out, there aren't any others. all is fair game, what would you do. |

Sure, I think about that all the time. I've got one personal card with a $10,000 limit and a business card with $25,000 limit, neither ever has more than a couple grand on them before they get paid off. I'd buy a truck load of ammo and probably ass many 5 galon gas cans as I could carry in my trailer plus fill them up. Sure I mite buy food and other things, but my BOL is on a river so I don't need stock piles of water and I can also hunt and fish for food there as well and I have too many cloths already. |
