Been looking at Diesel, 1800rpm generators. Anyone have some experience with the Imperial Generators?

Don't know anything about them, but damn it sounds good! Must be expensive.

How many kW does it put out?

seems like you can find ones almost the same size as that used all over.

Not many people need big ass ones like that, so they end up at big equipment auctions constantly.

last year i saw 4 of the generators just like that with CAT engines. at the ritchie brothers auctions around here.

some of them nearly new looking. and one completely enclosed that was with a trailer.

the one that was completely enclosed was SUPER SILENT, the thing was like sound proofed , it was 12kw, and had its own small trailer.

went for 8 or 9 grand.  what a deal :(

EDIT.

now that i think about it, it had to be more than 12kw, definately more. maybe 16 or 18...

These are brand new, little over $5k and mentioned assembled in the USA. My guess it is imported parts put together, but could be wrong. Just wondering if anyone has seen, used, or own one the Imperial Generators..

Dang it Dan...I am about a week away from writing a check for a Coleman Powerstation 11.5 Kw Honda powered LP generator, And you have to go and post something like that!
