Wow what a windy day…. It was 15-20 easy and the wind started just as we hit the water. Tons of small fish but the trip was all about bending a rod and they didn’t want to keep anything so it was all good. Rat reds and puppy drum were everywhere and we went through 10 dozen shrimp fast… .  .  .

Didn’t want to feed them!!! this has gotten to be a regular problem where we wade fish. they are smart enough to not mess with the trout while reeling them in or after they are on the stringer, but they will bob around 5 ft from the end of our stringers and wait for us to catch and release the dinks and ladyfish |

Good god it was freezing this morning…. Was not expecting the bite to be as great as it was but the reds were chewing for sure. On the water by 8am and a limit by 9am all on muds today… we then went for trout on artificial hard baits finding only small trout… all in all a great morning!!! .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .

Well the weather man completely blew it calling for rain and wind. The sky was overcast but the wind was calm and the rain was nonexistent…. I planned on running south to a spot but just a mile south of boat ramp we hit a big school of slot reds and we never left them.. absolutely epic morning for sure!!! .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .
