I just bought, on sale, a pair of Under Armor scent control pants in Realtree Extra without realizing they weren't the typical AP pattern. I was wondering what the difference between the two patterns is and if I will be able to find other gear in Realtree Xtra.

Not sure but I doubt the deer will notice. As long as it breaks up your outline and you stay still, you won't have an issue with either one.

anything that breaks up your outline is fine.   What you do need to pay attention to is the season your using it and the condition of the woods.   Wintertime, shades of grey and light background.  Leaves on the trees, any of  Mossy Oak or Realtree stuff will work.

Totally agree, the deer just won't care. I might argue the added breakup of the 2 slightly different patterns will make you more effective.

My wife commented last year how my camo didn't match.  I pointed to my Brother-in-Law (former 82nd airborne) and told her "You know what they call matching camo?  A uniform.  Ask that guy".
