Well my BOL cabin is all insulated now and ready to have the walls closed up inside.
But what are my options to keep field mice out of the cabin?
I wanna bring up a small sleeper couch and an extra bed I have but I'm worried they are gonna be in heaven up there?
Are there any tricks to keeping the little bastards out?
When I go up to spend more than 1 night up there, they seem to disappear.

Don't know too much about the commercially available products out there but traps are tried, true and cheap. A cat as well if you can manage it. Perhaps relocate a few snakes on the perimeter?

Just my thoughts as I wait for the work day to end...

I've had less of a problem when leaving the house unheated than when heated (drain the pipes and fixtures).   That said, I've found mouse-proofing impossible.   Baited traps can keep things under control.
