I'm just starting my new bolt gun project. It's going to be a 300 Win Mag built on a Rem 700 action. I intend to (attempt to) shoot it out to say 1,000yds +/-.
I've got most everything figured out, except for the glass for this gun. Here's my criteria: - First Focal Plane - MRAD - Variable power to at least 20x - 50mm objective (min) - Mil Dot or "Horus-type" reticle - "Tactical" style turrets - Zero stop would be nice - Budget max of $3,000ish What makes/models should I be looking at? Vortex Razor II 4.5-27x56. EBR-2C reticle and saves you $500 off that $3000 max. Euro Optic has them in stock now from reports.
