| This thread is evil.... I picked up a Remington 700 S/A receiver (sportman 78) today. I'm going to start a m40a5 clone. Only difference is it is going to be in 6.5 creedmoor. Anyone know lead time on McMillan a4 stocks? |

ETA: you wouldn't also have a lead on the PGW NVs22 mount would you? I don't even see it on their website anymore. |

That Surefire mount is correct for an XM3, the M40A5 uses the muzzle brake |

Euro Optic has an AICS 2.0 for Remington Long Action / .300WM for $815 Unsure if it's the old design or the new one (pic shows old design). However, it has black skins. If you buy it, maybe you can find some FDE skins for sale (either as replacement skins or take off from those who bought the Viper Skins). I don't believe the old and new AICS skins are interchangeable, so you would have to find the correct style. Alternatively, you could have someone match a paint color of AI's FDE |
