This was brought up before - about an alternative to the MARS rail: It says the LA PRI rail is 16" long - how long is the LA MARS rail used on the MK13s? I'm just wondering how similar this is to the MARS - if it's close enough to be kosher for a clone? |

The SR25 is a MK11 Mod 1 (1 of 40) that KAC commercially released & was left over from the USMC contract. I'll never get rid of that one! KAC utilized Obermeyer SS barrels on the 40 rifles.

Has anyone been able to find any more MK13 MOD7 pictures other than the three on the first page? I have my Stiller MK13 action and AI MOD7 chassis. Lilja says my barrel blank will take 12 weeks. After I get that it all goes off to Dave Tooley to be put together. I just haven't been able to find any other pictures. Maybe my googlefu sucks.

They built the MK13 that was used in American Sniper. High Caliber Sales built a Mk13 Mod 5 for the movie, but it was not used in the final production of the film. |

| Im trying to gather a few items for a MK13 MOD 5 build. if anyone has that wants to get rid of or knows of a place to get the following items please let me know, AICS 2.0, Remington MARS mount. And also if i can get my hands on a AICS 2.0 do you know if a McCann Industries MIRS rail will fit properly? Thanks for any help. |
