So, I have decided to stick with the AR platform for a dedicated 6x45 long range rifle. I have already taken a deer and coyote with this and it is an awesome caliber.
I currently have only loaded for 70tnt and 87gr Berger, which is flat and shoots great. I will begin to take this out to 600 to see how well she really does.
It has a heavy barreled McGowen 18 inch. I will build another one of these in FDE in the future with a 22 inch barrel and report back and progress I am seeing.
I love that this stays in the current AR platform and that it uses everything that a current AR does but for the barrel.
If anyone has any specific loads they would like to share please let me know. Also feel free to share you builds, would like to see what people have out there.

The round is a favorite of mine as well. In a bolt gun with the 95gr SMK over a charge of xbr8208 is amazing!

I'm getting 1/2 inch at 100 with 60 grain sierra hp over 25 grains H-322.
Might work just as well with the 70 grain tnt.
Mine is a 10 twist built for yotes.
Great caliber for accuracy.

5 shot groups, 62 Berger @ 100 yards, couldn't be happier as this 12.5" barrel rocks!  Super easy to load for and very repeatable performance on one of my "stamped" SBR lowers.  Hope to smoke some coyotes this fall with it.

Very very cool build.  Good shooting.  I like the fixed stock with the short barrel.

Cool! That's a neat round, I'm surprised at the speeds that are reported with it, something to do with bore size.

The bore expansion ratio seems to help in the acceleration of the projectile.  Generally using "faster" powders than I might in a 5.56.
