First off I would like to say hello to the folks in this sub-forum. I hope to become involved in you community.
A few months ago I got a Cold Steel Trail Hawk in trade. While I don't think it will ever replace my axe, for mild weather it works well. I think where a hawk shines is the ability to remove the head and use it for tasks other than chopping. Any way I did a vid and took some pics. Sorry about the length of the vid. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6pvv97vPLHk
Good to see you joining in. I was impressed on the other site when you posted this info.
Based in part on what you have done, I now have a Trail Hawk myself.

I have one of those and find it pretty useful. The only thing I don't like is the way the head is attached to the wood. That screw lets the head come loose pretty easily.

I saw your vid from the other site and was very impressed! I am looking to pick one up and really try to build some skill with it. Thanks for the vid!
