We hunted around Pearsall Tx., and Lytle Tx. over the weekend.  We had a party of 3 and eleminated 24 hogs.  It was fun as always.  http://i776.photobucket.com/albums/yy44/rodinator1234/P3050015.jpghttp://i776.photobucket.com/albums/yy44/rodinator1234/P3050019.jpghttp://i776.photobucket.com/albums/yy44/rodinator1234/DCFC0064.jpg

It's so much fun.  We have done it twice now.  We live in Mo and drive down the drive sucks, but the hunting is great.  We all have AR10's (DPMS, and 2 Rock Rivers) and one guy has a AK the other a M4 like mine each of us have Eotech's.  Walking around in the prickly pear patch is about as good as it gets quick fast shooting and excitment like nothing else I have ever done.  Sitting in the stands over feeders is fun, the feeders are for deer and turkeys not really hogs.  Sitting in stands we have our AR10's, walking is M4's and AK.  My buddy with the AK has a Vortex Strike fire on it that rifle he has set up is about as good a AK as I have ever been around, the Strike Fire is really good.  I should have saved 300 and got one instead of the Eotech.  I was curious how it would hold up over the long haul, but it's real strong.  Hunting down there walking around through the brush being TX brush poppers is hard on guns.  You TX guys know all about it

Yes piglets.  As for the land, it's kind of a weird deal.  Yes it's a outfitters property, but we don't use him as a guide.  He primarily does deer, turkey, and dove/quail hunts.  The hogs are a pestilence for him.  This isn't a high fence place or anything like that.  We pay him for the use of his facilities, we stay in his camp housing and use his Polaris Ranger and we didn't see him again.  We know the lay out of the property and pretty much just go to it.  It works out real well for us, and him.  It's a win, win deal.
