I am new to HAM and also a new owner of a ICOM IC-T90A. I wanted to know is there a better portable antenna for it? Also is there a inexpensive base antenna for it that I might be able to keep at a remote BO location untill needed?

At least for 2m and 70cm.

A fairly good portable antenna would be a 5/8 or 1/4 wave magnet mount larsen mounted on a cookie sheet or old computer case side panel.

A good inexpensive base antenna is a Jetstream JTB3.

I don't know about 6m FM.  There isn't much around my location.
