We are doing a 2-3 day backpack trip next weekend. When i get back i'll write a review on how it worked. Figure its much smaller and lighter then a tent and sleeping bag. I am going to try it with a tarp as a cover if it rains. This with a tarp and wool army blanket rolled around it will take up less space then just a sleeping bag would.

I slept in this the last 2 nights at Scout camp:  2 of the best nights of sleep I've had in months:

This review pretty well sums it up for me:

Very Nice Hammack

This is actually the Grand Trunk Skeeter Beeter Pro Hammock - the newer version of the Travel Hammock Mosquito Hammock (Travel Hammock changed their name). The weight is a little higher (28 oz instead of 20 oz) and the capacity is higher (400# instead of 250#) but this newer version is actually a better hammock at a very good price. Grand Trunk makes quality products. You won't be disappointed! Only wish Cabelas sold the Grand Trunk TreeSlings to compliment the hammock. I bought them from another online retailer - great hammock camping combo - just add a fly!!

The grand truck Skeeter Beater is my go to hammock. Ive done a few small things to make it better like adding a ridgeline to keep the bugnet up, but it is an excellent hammock.

Well I ordered the bug net one on the 29th and received it the 2nd. I set it up today and was pretty pleased for the price. As the people have said it is a smaller hammock but at 5'11 and 230 it fits me just fine. One of those cheap blue walmart camping mats fits easily inside it and adds to the comfort plus keeps bugs from biting your back. It was a snap to string up and I was relaxing in minutes.

My wife was less than pleased at yet another package showing up at our door but she got over this one very quickly. It can be used as a two person hammock if you have the right size people
