I'm looking at used Colt with a serial # that starts with CSL Can someone help me out with info? Thanks for anyone's help

You'll be looking for the MT6530, or post ban version of the Sporter Lightweight.
Should be an A2 stocked, A2 sighted, 16" lightweight barreled gun with a crowned muzzle and no lug.

You are correct on features. Two more questions. I found serial # info indicating this gun is preban. Upper has purple tint, is this from aluminum material? Or added/changed inferior parts?

Any Colt serial number that starts with a three letter prefix is a Postban AR-15, not a Preban. Refer to http://www.biggerhammer.net/ar15/ar15serial.html for serial number and configuration information.
