I had posted this on another thread, but thought I should start a new one for more responses. I bought a BM 20" A3 yesterday. Took it out to the range and had no failures to report. Used a variety of PMP, PMC, American Eagle, and Winchester. Mostly all 55gr. I was able to make head shots on an IPSC target at 100yds with little difficulty.
I thought I would just get the rifle cycling before I attempted to set the battle zero. I do not forsee shooting much past 100yds unless I travel to a different range. Do I still need to battle zero this rifle if I am satisfied with my groups at 100yds?
I am not new to firearms by any means, just new to this nice of a rifle. I shoot pistols in IPSC/IDPA games and hunt regularly. I am having a blast with my BM so far.
