why? you could could shoot yourself in the foot and launch the bolt carrier group into your face all in one fell swoop
While it's not intended to fire when open, it looks as if the steel tab in the rifle side of the hinge would prevent the bolt carrier from exiting the weapon. The rifle would fire, but you'd have to lock the stock in place & then manually cycle the action before you could shoot again.
Edited to add: If you watch the 2nd video, only 3 minutes long, it makes clear that an AD will not launch the bolt carrier. A .308" might damage the folder, but not the buffer threads on an AR10.
