I'll try full mags next time out. This range normally doesn't like full mags - it's posted "one round in the gun at a time" - but I think if I explain to the R.O. that I'm debugging the gas system, he'll let me slide.
(DANGER: OFF-TOPIC RANT FOLLOWS:<br>Yeah, I know... Single-Shot Only is a stupid range rule. Well, this range is run by the Michigan DNR, it's been rebuilt from a useless pile of lead- and copper-infested trash into an extremely nice multi-distance, multi-use range, and it's absolutely *FREE* to shoot there. The MDNR used to allow "rock-n-rollers" there, but they shot like immature a$$h*les, destroyed the range structures and furniture, and generally ruined the fun for everyone. So frankly, I'm willing to put up with single-shot only for a while, if it means I can enjoy the company of mature shooters, for as long as I choose, with absolutely NO range fees. And before you say "the DNR gets its range fees from your taxes", note that 1.) Out of every $1 that I pay in state taxes, the MDNR gets summat like 7¢, and 2.) The anti-gunners in Michigan also pay for that range with *their* taxes. HeeHeeHeeHee!)
